but I doubt it!Ī 1 on 1 between Iver and Bolverk - I didn't really get it as the big ending. This all seems odd to me because the reviews didn't really touch on this, I almost feel like my game bugged out with my seemingly missing content. Both my human and Bolverk banner squads had large contingents of fighters with no wars to fight. I think I recall two "wars" in the whole of TBS 2 and though these aren't the best implemented feature in the world, I really have no idea why I trained fighters if the war mechanic wasn't going to be used much. Had TBS 2 never been made I would have felt satisfied with TBS 1 as a standalone, but this isn't the case with TBS 2. I'm aware that this isn't the final chapter of TBS, but then neither was 1 and the wars/varl&human city defences really gave it a sense of climax regardless. I think this was sadly missing from TBS 2, and not to be given one at the end with the human capital was a big surprise to me since it was all set up nicely. TBS 1 had two segments where you defend major outposts with plenty of politics woven in at the same time and it felt like a real meat grinder, really involved. who? Sorry what? ) and there was no major city defence with errands etc that I think we were probably all looking forward to a la TBS 1. where are the rest, what, why, I don't remember them all splitting up.įurthermore, the scout report that you receive in the human capital in the end seemed to have no context (the horseborn have killed. missing? There was no closure with him and the Ravens, particularly the shieldmaiden. Was anyone else extremely surprised to see TBS 2 end when it did? My jaw literally dropped out of surprise when I received the achievement - much as I LOVE TBS, I really felt that the final portion of Bolverk's story was.
